Ingredients
  

  • 500 g beef stew meat
  • 2 carrots chopped
  • 2 potatoes chopped
  • 1 onion diced
  • 500 ml beef stock
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp thyme

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, brown the beef stew meat over medium heat.
  • Add the carrots, potatoes, and onion, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the beef stock, tomato paste, and thyme.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 1.5-2 hours until the meat is tender.
  • Serve with crusty bread.
